Pick Your Own Flowers

Step into our vibrant cut flower gardens and enjoy an afternoon surrounded by color and fragrance. Wander through the blooms, clip your favorites, and create your own custom bouquet— an experience that’s as joyful as it is beautiful.

Open Dates & Hours

Our fields open September 17th and remain open until the first frost.

  • Wed–Fri: 10am – 6pm

  • Sat & Sun: 10am – 2pm

Pricing

Start your visit at the Farm Stand to pick up supplies and get directions to the best picking spots of the day.

  • 0.50 per stem (flowers & foliage)

  • $1.00 per stem (dahlias)

  • Glass jars available: +$2 each (includes water to keep blooms fresh)

  • Bring your own bucket for easy transport home.

Payment options: cash, check, CSA card, or credit/debit (3% fee applies to card payments).

Parking & Access

Parking is available at the Honey Field Farm Stand.

The flower fields are just across the street—a short, level walk away.

Paths between rows can be uneven, so please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes.

Clippers

To keep our plants healthy, all visitors must use farm-provided clippers.

  • We’ll hold your driver’s license or car keys while you borrow clippers.

  • Lost clippers will be charged at $15 each.

Safety & Comfort

  • Fields may be muddy or slippery at times—good shoes are a must.

  • Flowers grow in full sun, so please bring sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, etc.).

  • Comfortable clothes recommended for a relaxed picking experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can children pick flowers?
Yes! Children are welcome in the flower fields with adult supervision. Please help little ones handle the clippers carefully.

Are pets allowed?
For the safety of our flowers, guests, and animals, we ask that you leave pets at home. Dogs are not allowed on the farm. Service animals are always welcome.

What should I bring?
We recommend bringing a bucket or container for carrying your flowers home. Sturdy, closed-toe shoes and sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses) will make your visit more comfortable.

What happens if it rains?
The flower fields remain open in light rain—just bring a raincoat and boots! In the case of heavy rain or thunderstorms, we will close the Flower Fields.

How do I pay?
We accept cash, checks, CSA cards, and credit/debit cards (with a 3% card fee).

Can I book a group visit or event?
Yes! We welcome small groups, photographers, and special events with advance notice. Please contact us to make arrangements at info@honeyfieldfarmvt.com

Are the fields accessible?
The flower fields are just across the street from our Farm Stand and do not require uphill walking. Paths between rows can be uneven or muddy, so accessibility may be limited for strollers or wheelchairs.
