Earth Day Planting Celebration

Earth Day Planting Celebration

Join Honey Field as we celebrate Earth Day 2024 and share our love of growing and gardening! We will be planting pollinator-friendly, regional, and neonicotinoid (pesticide)-free plants to help support our local ecosystem and the earth.

Drop-in Mini-Workshop: Rain Boot Planters

Do you have any old, leaky or outgrown rain boots? Upcycle them into a whimsical rain boot planter this spring! Bring those old boots to the farm, and find new life for them by planting pollinator friendly flowers in them during this mini-workshop!

Workshop times:

Drop by between 11 am - 4 pm Saturday & Sunday

Cost: Purchase the plants of your choosing plus soil $1 per scoop

Workshop participants have access to flower plugs as low as 50 cents each.
Wood chips for drainage provided.

Our Farming Practices

Honey Field Farm is committed to organic practices in our veggies, herb and edible plant production. All plants are guaranteed neonicotinoid-free and we utilize integrated pest management (IPM) to use natural preventatives for pests and disease.

Neonicotinoids are a toxic and prevalent insecticide that’s decimating populations of pollinators and threatening ecosystems and food security globally. Read more about the effects of neonicotinoids on bees and humans. This Earth Day, help support pollinator friendly farming practices by shopping at local nurseries, farms and greenhouses that are neonicotinoid free.
